Bev and Steve welcome you to The Burston Crown. We are situated in the picture book Norfolk village of Burston, 21 miles from Norwich, 2.9 miles from Diss and 28 miles from Ipswich.

The Crown is a 16th Century building and offers two oak beamed bars for dining, a huge fireplace with a woodstove and a deli, filled with freshly cooked sausage rolls, cake, scotch eggs and pies as well aswell locally sourced produce. An expansive beer garden, heated dining huts and a beautiful covered patio area and most of all a warm welcome from your hosts Bev and Steve (more about us later!).

A watering hole for villagers, farmers and travellers for centuries, these days, much the same. Wether it's to come for a drinks, coffee and cake with a friend, lunch after walking the dogs, a dinner with friends or family or to come and listen to some great live music on a Sunday afternoon. The Burston Crown is a great place to be. Children and dogs and very much welcome.

We are proud to boast a chef ‘with a past’! Steve has toured extensively as a chef with rock and roll stars such as U2 and Bruce Springsteen amongst many other famous (and fussy!) musicians. This worldwide touring has allowed Steve to sample an eclectic range of cuisines and styles which we are proud to feature throughout our menus as well as some more traditional fare.

In the Norfolk tradition Steve insist on local, fresh produce and meats. These provide the core for a home-cooked, mouth watering bar menu that complements the continually refreshed a la carte menu.

Whilst Steve is slaving over several hot stoves, his wife Bev and her front of house team are here to help you with anything you need. Please do not hesitate to ask them about our ‘Special Occasions’ or absolutely any other event such as personalised menus, buffets or a barbeque in our lovely beer garden.
